MUTTON DAL GOSHT
IN ENGLISH INGREDIENTS Mutton - 600 g Bottle Gourd - 250 g Onion - 250 g Tomato - 4 medium-sized Ginger-Garlic Paste - 2 tablespoons Red Chilli Powder - 2 tablespoons Coriander Powder - 2 tablespoons Mixed Whole Spices - 10 g Tamarind or Amchur (Optional, for tanginess) Coriander Leaves - for garnishing METHODS 1.Wash the mutton and lentils (dal). Soak the lentils in water for 15 to 20 minutes. 2.In a pressure cooker, add mutton, onion, and salt. Fry the onion until it's golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and turmeric powder. Roast well. 3.Add mutton and a cup of water. Mix well. Close the cooker's lid and boil for 10 to 15 minutes on low flame. 4.In another cooker, heat oil. Add onion and fry. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt. Stir well. Add soaked lentils and water according to preference.
